Occupying the eastern third of Franklin County, the corridor impacts a dozen cities, villages, and townships along the main waterway and its tributaries. Despite its physical reach, the corridor is currently one of the least developed greenways in terms of completed trail and neighborhood access to the regional system. This vision explores key nodes along the corridor that will have catalytic impacts for the adjacent neighborhoods through enhanced connectivity, recreation, and equitable access. Though not exhaustive of all opportunity zones along the corridor, these focus areas leverage recognizable public lands that are highly visible and exemplary for various implementation strategies.
